Vice-President and Photojournalist

Chris Staab has been a photojournalist for over 20 years. When his daughter Haven was born, Chris decided to aggressively pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a photographer.  He purchased his first SLR camera and began photographing every new moment in his daughter’s life. Chris eventually went to work in broadcast news at KAUZ in his hometown of Wichita Falls, TX. Soon, he climbed the ladder to KOCO in Oklahoma City, and then to KOKH Fox 25. Chris spent the majority of his news career as a special projects photographer in Oklahoma City and even worked special projects at WSVN in Miami, FL.

Chris holds several state and national awards for his photography and editing including three Oklahoma Associated Press Awards, two Hawaii Associated Press Awards, four national Associated Press Awards, two Emmys and an additional Emmy nomination.

After years of chasing ambulances and fire trucks, Chris decided to open Double Vision Productions in Honolulu, Hawaii. Under his direction, his production firm produced high-end video content for several corporations and state agencies. He also directed, produced and filmed several television shows in Hawaii and his work gained him worldwide attention.  Eventually, he began productions on several different continents and he spent most of 2007-2009 traveling the globe.

In April of 2009, Chris was asked to relocate to California to edit a network television series called “MMA Worldwide.”  He directed and shot the final 3 episodes of the series and after the series completion, he was asked to stay in California.  He was then Director of Media at MMA Worldwide & TapouT Magazine, and in addition, he became the Editor-In-Chief of both national publications.

Chris, his wife Nicole, and even their 2 children are all very passionate about wildlife. Chris and Nicole are both devoted wildlife photographers and their work has appeared on Animal Planet, in National Geographic Traveler magazine and in publications all over the world.

Although best known for his work in action sports and covering live sporting events; Aaron ‘Tru’ Teweles has also spent several years producing video and photo content for corporate events, parties, weddings, business expos, infomercials, web shows, marketing materials, product reviews and more. Citing his love for creating digital content and working with new people in unique locations, Tru became a full-time videographer in 2008 after graduating from CSULB.

Referred to as a “Master Marketer” by ESPN’s Jay Crawford, Tru is also an “on-camera” MMA personality and marketing consultant who holds a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship.

Tru has been seen on ESPN, The O’Reilly Factor, The Best Damn Sports Show, multiple shows in Japan and Europe, and has even been featured on the front page of TMZ. Additionally, Tru has been featured in MMA Worldwide Magazine and has appeared as a guest on several radio shows.

Tru has covered over 100 MMA events including UFC, StrikeForce, Elite XC, Affliction, and several other promotions in the California area. Shortly after dedicating his professional career to combat sports, Aaron Tru was a Nominee for 2010 Mixed Martial Arts Journalist of the Year.
